Adele Labarr

Adele Goble LaBarr of Highland Lake, NY, a retired caretaker at Devenoge Country Club, Highland Lake, NY, and a lifelong area resident, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center, Liberty, NY. She was 87.

The daughter of the late Albert and Lillian Dexter Donahue, she was born December 24, 1926 in Port Jervis, NY.

Survivors include one son, Steven K. Goble and his wife Ellen of Forestburgh, NY; one brother, John Donahue of Narrowsburg, NY; three sisters, Lucy Brown of Glen Spey, NY, Nelly King of Glen Spey, NY, and Lena Kent of Sparrowbush, NY, and one granddaughter, Sarah Goble; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Chris Goble; and her second husband, Lou LaBarr; one son, Chris Goble; one grandson, Kris Goble Long; and three brothers, Albert Donahue, Jr., Lester Donahue, and George Donahue.

Funeral services are private.
