Alan Palmer

Alan S. Palmer of Liberty, NY, a retired supervisor for the Brink's Company, Brooklyn, NY, and a long time area resident, died Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. He was 65.

The son of Edward and the late Elayne Holtzman Palmer, he was born April 1, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY.

Alan was an avid hunter; he was a member of the Cher Acers Hunting Club and a member of the NRA.

Survivors include his father, Edward Palmer of Liberty, NY; two sisters, Robin Cohen of FL and Marcia Palmiotti of Brooklyn, NY; five nieces and nephews; and two great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial with military honors will be Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1 PM in the Sullivan County Veteran's Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
