Alford Jersey

Alford D. Jersey of Liberty, NY, a retired logger and a long time area resident, died June 22, 2012 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center, Liberty, NY. He was 89.

The son of the late Andrew and Gertrude Conklin Jersey, he was born December 2, 1922 in Grooville, NY.

Survivors include his daughter, Helen L. Jersey and her fiancé Ted Hutchins of Monticello, NY; two brothers, Larry Jersey and his wife Shirley of FL, and David Jersey and his wife Ann of Livingston Manor, NY; his step children, Robert and Carolyn Loucks of Livingston Manor, NY, Donald and Sue Loucks of Elkland, PA, Darlene and Tim Leto of Norwich, NY, Charlotte Merle Warfield of Rim Rock, AZ, and Stan and Judy Loucks of Scottsdale, AZ; one granddaughter, Morgan Hutchins; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with military honors will be Saturday July 21, 2012 at 11 AM in the Sullivan County Veteran's Cemetery, Sunset Lake Road, Liberty NY. The Rev. James Matthews will officiate.
