Allan Mears

Allan B. Mears of Livingston Manor, NY, a retired Welder for Electric Boat Co. in Groton, CT., and a longtime area resident died Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at his home.  He was 71.

The son of the late Kenneth R. and Betty I. Gransbury Mears, he was born March 24, 1951.  Allan was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Loch Sheldrake, NY.

Survivors include one son, David Mears and his wife Elaine of Liberty, NY; one daughter, Nikki Pirog and her husband Tom of Hawaii; and six grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents and by his sister, Linda A. Mears.

The family has chosen to remember Allan's life privately at this time.
