Anita B. Wright

Anita B. Wright of Liberty, NY a home maker and a long-time area resident died Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at her home. She was 70.

The daughter of the late Laura Hunter and Charles J. Frerichs, Jr., she was born November 2, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York.

Anita enjoyed cooking and reading magazines. She was a collector of Princess Diana items and loved watching Dog the Bounty Hunter on TV. She loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Kimberly Wright of Liberty, NY; three sisters, Phyllis Maxwell of Liberty, NY, Claire Shea and her husband Robert of PA and Marilyn Cope of Liberty, NY; two grandchildren, Isis Ava Wright of Jeffersonville, NY and Haven Wright of Liberty, NY.

She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Wright in October of 2024; her sister, Elaine Fabbo and her sister Linda Christie passed away on Wednesday January 8, 2025.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 10 to 11 AM at the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 11 AM in the funeral home. Father Edwards Bader will officiate. Burial will follow at the Sullivan County Veteran’s Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
