Ann Korabik

Ann Korabik of Liberty, NY, a registered nurse and a long time area resident, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. She was 66.

The daughter of the late Joseph and Lorraine Petroski Ludlum, she was born September 25, 1948 in Queens, NY.

Ann had been the Director of Nursing at the Community General Hospital, Harris, NY before retiring after 36 years of work; she had also worked at Achieve Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility, Liberty, NY. Ann enjoyed reading, bird watching and spending time with her grandson, Shawn.

The family would like to thank the nurses and all of the staff at Orange Regional Medical Center for their excellent care and support.

Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Korabik, at home; her daughter, Kimberly Jordan and her husband Shawn; and her beloved grandson, Shawn Jordan.

A celebration of Ann's life will be Friday, June 26, 2015 from 6-8 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, NY.

Memorial contributions in Ann's name may be made to the Hudson Valley Visiting Pet Program, 104 Lake Road, Valley Cottage, NY 10989.
