Bernard Davis

Bernard J. Davis of Sarasota, FL and a former resident of Middletown, NY died Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at his home in Sarasota, FL. He was 87.

The son of the late Walter J. and Helene M. Fath Davis, he was born July 18, 1929 in Middletown, NY.

Bernie proudly served Our Country during the Korean War in the US Army. He had been a self employed plumber in Middletown, NY and later in Sarasota, FL before retiring.

He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter.

Survivors include four sons, Harold E. (Butch) Davis, Bernie J. Davis, Danny Cherry Davis and Walter J. Davis; ten daughters, Carol Ann, Carol Lee, Tammy Lynn, Valerie, Tina Marie, Robin Sue, Bernice, Robin Cherry Davis, Kathy Davis Perry and Bonnie Davis Morley; his niece, Linda Klein and her husband Dave Klein and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 9-10:30 AM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Father Edward Bader will officiate.

Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
