Berta Endriss

Berta Endriss of Yorktown Heights, NY and Lew Beach, NY, a retired teacher’s assistant for the Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Roscoe Regional Rehab. and Residential Health Care Facility, Roscoe, NY.  She was 80.

The daughter of the late Franz and Rose Pfaff, she was born April 30, 1937 in Veringenstadt, Germany.

Family was very important to Berta and she loved taking adventure trips with her friends.  She enjoyed knitting, sewing and crafting.

Survivors include her husband, Karl Endriss, at home; one son, Eric Endriss and his wife Lori of Lew Beach, NY; one daughter, Erica Criader and her husband Henry of Ashaway, RI; two grandchildren including Carrie and Kyle Endriss; one sister, Anneliese Schlwginski; and two brothers, Karl Pfaff and Rolf Pfaff and his wife Inge, all of Germany; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Albert, Otto and Eugen Pfaff.

Funeral Mass will be scheduled and burial will be in the Lew Beach Cemetery in the Spring.
