Betty Cox

Betty R. Cox of Roscoe, NY, a homemaker and a lifelong area resident, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at her home. She was 70.

The daughter of the late Norman and Susan McUmber Ellis, she was born December 30, 1943 in Roscoe, NY.

Betty enjoyed her flower garden and collecting dolls.

Survivors include her son, Paul F. Cox, Jr. and his wife Leslie of Roscoe, NY; her daughter, Wendy Cox and her companion Jack of Roscoe, NY; two granddaughters, Ashley and Zaylee; two brothers, Norman Ellis and his wife Jean of Hancock, NY and Floyd Ellis and his wife Karen of Sharon, CT.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul F. Cox, Sr. on April 4, 2014.

Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 from 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Graveside services and burial will be Friday, Oct 3, 2014 at 11 AM in the Riverview Cemetery, Roscoe, NY.
