Beulah Cioara-Crow of Roscoe, NY, a retired Supervisor for Bell Telephone Company (Verizon), Liberty, NY, and a long time area resident, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Roscoe Regional Rehab and Residential Health Care Facility, Roscoe, NY. She was 89.
The daughter of the late Russell and Jessie Claypool McMartin, she was born May 9, 1923 in Kingsley Township, PA.
Survivors include her husband, Mihai Cioara-Crow, at home; one son, Newton Kimball of Parksville, NY; one granddaughter, Katherina; and several cousins.
Beulah was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, Liberty, NY; she worked for 40 years as a Supervisor for Bell Telephone Company and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. In a family statement, it was said, "Beulah was a loving and devoted wife and she will be deeply missed."
Visitation will be Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 4-7PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY. A prayer service will be held at 7 PM in the funeral home. The Rev. James Persons will officiate.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Nadelen will officiate.
Burial will be Monday, January 28, 2013 at 1 PM in the Morningside Cemetery, DuBois, PA.
