Beverly Flynn

Beverly A. Flynn of White Sulphur Springs, NY, a homemaker and a long time area resident died Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. She was 73.

The daughter of the late Walter and Catherine Kilpatrick Stechmann, she was born October 2, 1940 in Staten Island, NY.

Beverly was a communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Liberty, NY. She was an avid gardener and reader; she enjoyed traveling; and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 54 years, whom she married October 1, 1960, Robert J. Flynn, at home; two daughters, Patricia Flynn of Boynton Beach, FL and Donna Flynn-Brown and her husband Thomas Brown of Neversink, NY; one son, Robert J. Flynn, III and his wife Colleen of Fremont Center, NY; eight grandchildren, Daniel Stabak and his wife Julie and Andrea Stabak; Catherine, Jesse, and Alexander Brown; Morgan Hawkins; and Hunter and Collin Flynn; two great grandchildren, Ava and Eden Stabak; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased one brother, W. Robert Stechmann.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 10 AM in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church 264 No. Main Street, Liberty, NY. Father Edward Bader will officiate.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Youngsville, NY.
