Beverly O'Hearn Dill

Beverly passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Achieve Rehabilitation Hospital in Liberty, NY. She was 86.

Beverly was born July 8, 1937 in Liberty to Marie and Elroy Clark. She was the eldest of three siblings and big sister to Daniel and Thomas. Bev, as she was known to family and friends, married the love of her life, John F. O’Hearn Jr. on November 17, 1956. They had two daughters, Coleen Marie and Darlene Mary.

After her husband’s untimely passing Bev married John Dill on March 24, 1990.

Bev had several passions, her family, friends and politics. She served as Town of Liberty Councilwoman and Town Supervisor. While in office Bev was instrumental in opening of the care center facility at Sunset Lake in Liberty. She was extremely proud of this accomplishment. She also worked for Civil Defense and Harris Hospital.

Beverly is predeceased by her parents, husbands, and brother Thomas. She is survived by her brother Danny (Sue) Clark, daughters Coleen (Jerry) Flynn and Darlene DeNooyer and grandchildren Lindsey and Trevor (Cathy) as well as great-grandchildren Emma and Adian. Bev also is survived by 12 nieces and nephews who she loved as her own. A celebration of life is planned by her family for Saturday, April 27, 2024 starting at 1pm at The Elks Club in Liberty, NY. In lieu of flowers donations to the Liberty Elks Youth Activities would be greatly appreciated.
