Brigida Gozza

Brigida T. Gozza of New City, NY, a homemaker, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence, New City, NY. She was 87.

The daughter of the late Guillermo Gozza and Felicia Vanasco Gozza, she was born November 11, 1927 in Liberty, NY.

Brigida enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Cippoletti of Congers, NY, and Cindy Tricardo of Long Island, NY; five grandchildren, Jenna, Felicia, Anthony, Jr., Danielle, and Noelle; three great grandchildren, Alyssa, Joey, and Lorenzo; one sister, Felicia Meccia and her husband Joseph of VT; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Gozza of Liberty, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, William Kelly; two sons-in-law, Anthony Cippoletti, Sr. and Anthony Tricardo; one sister, Mary Gozza; and two brothers, John Gozza and Peter Gozza.

Visitation will be Friday, September 25, 2015 from 11 AM - 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 25, 2015 at 1 PM. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 264 No. Main Street, Liberty, NY. Father William Scafidi will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
