Bruce Sprague

Bruce L. Sprague of Downsville, NY, a self-employed stone cutter and a lifelong area resident, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the Roscoe Regional Rehab. and Residential Health Care Facility, Roscoe, NY. He was 60.

The son of the late Bruce S. Sprague and the late Marie Miller, he was born March 8, 1955 in Margaretville, NY.

Bruce loved the outdoors; he was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the NRA. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at The Office.

Survivors include his mother, Jean L. Sprague of Downsville, NY; two brothers, David T. Sprague and his wife Laura of Walton, NY and Timothy W. Sprague and his girlfriend Tawny of Downsville, NY; three sisters, Debra Haynes and her husband Ed of Arkville, NY, Kathleen Gardener and her husband Harry of Downsville, NY, and Doreen Sprague and her boyfriend Robert Dunphy of Downsville, NY; niece, Alicia Sprague and many other nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A celebration of Bruce's life will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 12 Noon in the American Legion Hall in Downsville, NY. Everyone is welcome to join his family and friends.
