Byron Vitch

Byron H. Vitch, of Roscoe, NY, a retired self-employed carpenter and a long time area resident, died Friday, September 24, 2021 at his home.  He was 53.

The son of Margery Pratt Vitch and the late Raymond H. Vitch, Jr., he was born December 31, 1967 in Annapolis, MD.

Byron was a member of the Son’s of the VFW in Pine Island, FL.

Survivors include his mother, Margery W. Vitch, of Powhaton, VA; one sister, Andrea P.V. Dorsey, of Powhaton, VA; one nephew, Justin J. Dorsey, of Powhaton, VA; two half-sisters, Vanessa Shields and Amber Rae Vitch; one half-brother, Anthony Vitch; and several cousins, friends and nieces and nephews, Heather Vitch-Gutierrez and William Vitch, Ryan Shields and Kyle Vitch.

Graveside services will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Livingston Manor, NY at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Byron’s name may be made to a local food pantry of one’s choice.
