Candida Torres Morales

Candida Torres Morales of Liberty, NY, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY.  She was 86.

The daughter of the late Bartolome Torres and Julia Morales she was born March 12, 1933 in Salinas, Puerto Rico.

Candida was a member of the First Spanish Pentecostal church in Liberty, NY; she was also a missionary for many years in Puerto Rico.

Survivors include her children, Irma Rivera, Migdalia Santiago Torres, Myrna Santiago Torres, Sixto Santiago Torres Jr., Pedro Santiago Torres, and Sandra Santiago Torres; 21 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one son, William Rivera.

Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2019 from 4 to 6 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 24, 2019 at 7:30 PM in the First Spanish Pentecostal Church in Liberty, NY.  The Rev. Rafael Gonzalez will officiate.
