Caroline Lohmeyer

Caroline Manzi Lohmeyer, 96, joined her husband, Edward, and her seven siblings in eternal rest on October 21, 2016. She was born August 6, 1920 and was a lifelong resident of Mongaup Valley, NY.

She is survived by her four children, Edward (Patricia Hogan), Jeffrey, Kenneth, and Judith LeComb; four grandchildren, Edward (Charlie) Lohmeyer, Jeffrey Lohmeyer, Chad (Kristy) LeComb, and Bethany Wadsworth; and six great grandchildren, Jamie LeComb, Jackson, Kennedy and Andrew Lohmeyer and Megan and Jeremy Wadsworth. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as Vicki Van Meter and Deidrea Lohmeyer whom she considered her daughters.

Caroline's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Caroline's in-home aides, Debbie Foster and Tammi Helgesen as well as the staff on the south wing of Roscoe Nursing Home for the compassionate care they provided to our mother.

A memorial mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11:30 AM in the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Gale Road, Mongaup Valley, NY; friends and family are invited to attend. Father William Scafidi will officiate.
