Carolyn Harrison

Carolyn Irene Harrison (DePew) passed away peacefully on May 25, 2022; she was 83.  She was born at home in Claryville, NY on June 30, 1938, to Susie Davis Keator and Claude Bernard DePew.  She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, William Arthur Harrison.  Carolyn retired from Tri-Valley Central School where she worked in food service for over 20 years.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching game shows on television.  Carolyn adored spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Harrison of Sundown, NY and Anna and her husband Kevin Markle of Sundown, NY; her four grandchildren, Megan and her husband Sean Mazurek of Napanoch, NY, Kaitlin Markle of Troy, NY, Shawn Markle of Kerhonkson, NY, Erin Markle of Sundown, NY; and two beloved great grandchildren, Zander and Zoelle Mazurek.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Achieve Nursing & Rehab, in Liberty, NY, for providing comfort, care, and compassion during her last days.

Services and burial will be private at the Rural Cemetery in Grahamsville, NY, per Carolyn's wishes and at the request of the family.
