Carolyn Roosa

Carolyn J. "Dolly" Roosa of Grahamsville, NY, a homemaker and a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. She was 71.

The daughter of the late Martin and Marguerite Harris Hoffman she was born December 26, 1939 in Liberty, NY.

Dolly was an avid reader and enjoyed the time she spent at the Daniel Pierce Library in Grahamsville, NY.

Survivors include two daughters, Dina Donohue and her husband Bruce of Ellenville, NY, and Debbie Boyd and her husband Mitch of Edgewater, MD; two sons, Dayne Roosa, Jr. of Monticello, NY; and Deming Roosa and his wife Michele of Liberty, NY; and seven grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dayne Roosa on August 2, 2007 and one brother, Martin Hoffman.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 9-11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. John Thomason will officiate.
