Catherine Dalconzo

Catherine Mary Dalconzo of Hankins, NY, a former employee of the New York City School Board of Education and a former New York City Police Officer, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at her home. She was 51.

The daughter of Lawrence and Catherine M. Herold Dalconzo she was born June 18, 1963 in Staten Island, NY.

Catherine had been a graduate of McKee Vocational and Technical High School. She moved to Sullivan County several years ago where she enjoyed the area and will be remembered for her love of the outdoors and feeding the deer by her home.

Survivors include her parents, Larry and Catherine Dalconzo of Lake Muskoday, NY; two daughters, Dawn Miller and her husband Keon of Hankins, NY and Holly Bills and her fiancAC. Alan A. Edwards, Jr. of Hankins, NY; two brothers, Lawrence Dalconzo and his wife Shari of Los Angelos and Joseph Dalconzo of Woodbourne, NY; six grandchildren, Dominick Dalconzo, Vito Dalconzo, Ivani Miller, Lynard L. Edwards, Mariah E. Edwards and Alan A. Edwards, III; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Dalconzo.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10 AM in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Obernburg, NY. Father John Bida will officiate.
