Catherine Folsom

Catherine McKenzie Folsom, a resident of The Center for Discovery, Harris, NY, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was 27.

She is survived by her parents Deborah Simpson Folsom of Bronxville, NY and Peter Lincoln Folsom of New York, NY, her beloved siblings, Amanda Beardsley Folsom and Peter Elliott Folsom, both of New York, NY; her grandparents, Harold B. Simpson and the late Nancy F. Simpson of Darien, CT, the late Janet R. Folsom and Paul L Folsom on Boynton Beach, FL, her four uncles and their families as well as her Hamilton House family.

McKenzie moved to The Center for Discovery in January 1998. She loved outdoor activities, going on outings, anything related to music and most of all, being with family and friends. Her independent spirit and sense of humor was known to all.

A memorial celebration will be held at The Center for Discovery in May.
