Catherine "Katie" V. Finkle

Catherine V. Finkle of Roscoe, NY a retired Health Care Aide/Laundry Aide at the Roscoe Community Nursing Home and a lifelong area resident, died Monday, February 5, 2024 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  She was 86.

The daughter of the late Caleb Sr. and Sarah Jacobson Bush, she was born December 25, 1937 in Walton, NY.

Catherine was a former member of the Harold Wood VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary in Roscoe, NY.  

Survivors include her son George K. Finkle and his wife Elaine of Roscoe, NY; two sisters, Dorothy Silverman of Sunset Lake Liberty, NY and Beatrice Bodiot of Walton, NY; several nieces and nephews; and a canine companion, Grand Beagle Zoey.

She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond G. Finkle in March of 2021; her brothers, Caleb Bush, Jr., Barney Bush, Lloyd Bush, and Paul Bush.

Graveside services and burial will be in the New Shavertown Cemetery, Andes, NY in the Spring.
