Celestine Auclair

Celestine H. AuClair of Liberty, NY, a retired cafeteria employee for Liberty Central School District, Liberty, NY, and a long time area resident, died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at her home. She was 95.

The daughter of the late Frederick and Mabel Hoover Houser, she was born May 10, 1920 in Oneida, NY.

Celestine was a communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Liberty, NY and a former member of the Rosary Society.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Barbara AuClair of Liberty, NY; her twin sister, Kathleen McCluskey and her husband Charles of Mt. Vernon, OH; two granddaughters, Jodi AuClair and Kaitlyn AuClair; one grandson, Lester Huebsch; one great grandson, Zachary Huebsch; one great granddaughter, Ariana AuClair; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Ernest E. AuClair; and one son, Ernest Edward AuClair; and her daughter, Kathleen Huebsch.

Visitation will be Monday, August 24, 2015 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 24, 2015 at 1 PM in the funeral home. Father William Scafidi will officiate.

Burial will be Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11 AM in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cleveland, NY.
