Charles G. Berkemeyer, Jr.

Charles “Charlie” G. Berkemeyer Jr., 67, of Monticello, NY died of natural causes on the early morning of Tuesday, November 12 2024 in Liberty, NY. 

Charlie was born July 17 1957 in Paterson NJ to parents, Charles G. Berkemeyer and Joan M Courter. 

He graduated from Sussex County Technical School in 1976 while studying carpentry. Charlie was an avid animal and wildlife lover. He was a devout Christian and spent much of his time giving back through helping others and giving to local animal shelters. 

Charlie is survived by his daughter, Kelly; his siblings, Kevin, Brad, Christopher, Stacey, Sue, and Tom; his granddaughter, Lillian; and his dear friend, Maryann. He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Berkemeyer. 

Charlie will especially be remembered for his kindness and sensitive heart. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to All Paws Matter, 1980 State Route 52, Liberty, NY 12754.
