Christa Sweeney

Christa M. Sweeney of Loch Sheldrake, NY a retired accountant and a long time area resident, died Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, NY.  She was 61.

The daughter of the late Herbert and Gunda Tiefel Standfest, she was born September 6, 1961 in Queens, New York.

Christa enjoyed playing sports; she had coaches with her husband for many years in Liberty and Monticello leagues.  She also enjoyed bowling.

Survivors include her brother, Roy Standfest; and her best friend, Maria Hankins; and many other friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be private.
