Christine Thomas

Christine L. Thomas of Livingston Manor, NY, a home maker and lifelong area resident, died Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Garnet Health Medical center in Middletown, NY.  She was 60.

The daughter of the late Lester E. and Betty J. LeRoy Thomas, she was born December 17, 1960 in Livingston Manor, NY.

Christine enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her longtime companion, Richard L. Vail, at home; two sons, Brian Vail of Livingston Manor, NY and Kevin Vail and his wife Nadine of Jeffersonville, NY; one daughter, Charlene Owen and her husband Raymond of Livingston Manor, NY; eight sisters, Penny Santiago and her husband Ely of Woodbourne, NY, Betty Cunningham of Woodbourne, NY, Carol Newman and her husband Barry of Grahamsville, NY, Karen Kleingardner of Livingston Manor, NY, Jenny Marshall of Livingston Manor, NY, Brenda Santiago and her husband Miguel of Liberty, NY, Tammy Thomas of Monticello, NY, and Sue Thomas of Livingston Manor, NY; one brother, Nelson Thomas of Livingston Manor, NY; seven grandchildren, Alexius Shaver, Eric Shaver, Haiden Vail, EmmaRae Owen, Aubrey Vail, Brayden Owen, and Robbie Sisco; one great grandson, Brice Satkowski; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.
