Christopher J. McCart

Christopher J. McCart, 65 years old, of Parksville, NY passed away on July 19, 2023, after a short battle with cancer.  

A memorial service will be held on September 12, 2023 at 2 PM at Harris Funeral Home in Liberty, NY.

Christopher was born and raised in Collingswood, NJ on September 18, 1957.  He attended Collingswood High School, worked as a chef for many years, and then continued on to receive his LPN license from Sullivan County BOCES.

Christopher is survived by his wife Peggy Bachman, brother Francis McCart, sister Tammy Scovern, daughter Melody McCart, stepmother Connie McCart, stepsiblings Mark McCart and Wendy Burke, and many nieces and nephews.  Christopher was preceded in death by his father Frank McCart, mother Helene Lenahan, brother Timothy McCart and stepbrother John McCart.

Christopher loved caring for his patients, especially geriatric patients.  He worked in Home Health Care for many years.  He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, hiking, fishing and golfing at every opportunity.  He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him.
