Clara Distefano

Clara C. DiStefano of Liberty, NY, a homemaker and a long time area resident died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility, Liberty, NY. She was 86.

The daughter of the late John and Helen Moleski Winters, she was born January 21, 1930 in Staten Island, NY.

Survivors include her children, Joseph Andrews, Jr. of Howell, NJ, Carol Kane and her husband Jack of Sunrise, FL, Sherri O'Keefe and her husband Kevin, Sr. of East Brunswick, NJ, Albert Andrews of Howell, NJ, and Candy Becker of Liberty, NY; one son-in-law, Walter Sorokata, Jr.; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; four sisters, Joan, Florence, Noreen, and Lori; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony DiStefano; one daughter, Bonnie Sorokata; one grandchild, Jesse Kane and one great grandchild, Amalia Acosta.

Funeral services will be private.
