Our Precious Son, Craig George Dean, went to his Lord unexpectedly on Friday, January 30, 2015 at his home. He was 41.

The son of George A. and Barbara A. Sosnowski Dean, he was born on July 19, 1973 in Ellenville, NY.

Craig was an owner/operator, truck driver and machine operator for his family business at Crystal Falls Farm/Sand and Gravel in Neversink, NY; he worked for a period of time with the NYS Department of Transportation in Monticello, NY; and he operated his own landscape business, C&D Landscaping in Neversink, NY. He was a member of the Free Masons, Liberty Lodge # 521; a member of the Farm Bureau; the event coordinator for the Hay Bale Toss at the Pumpkin Party; a member of the NRA and the Neversink Antique Tractor Club; he was an avid hunter and a very strong believer in the Second Amendment.

In a Family Statement it was said that, "Craig was a kind hearted person and he loved his nieces and nephews very much."

Survivors include his parents George A. and Barbara A. Sosnowski Dean, of Neversink, NY; three sisters, Kristy Dean Closs and her husband Jason, Kylie Dean Conjura and her husband Tom, and Nikki Dean Horton and her husband Eric, all of Neversink, NY; his nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Nathan, Paityn, Tyler, Jonathan, William, Sophia, and Alexandra; his maternal grandmother, Irene Sosnowski; numerous close aunts, uncles and cousins; and his favorite pet, Nin-nin.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Charles Sosonowski; his paternal grandparents, Louise and Archie Dean; one aunt, Shirley Dean Poley; and one uncle, Steven Hill.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 5-9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY. Liberty Masonic Lodge #521 will conduct services at 8 PM.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 11 AM in the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Kerston will officiate.

Burial will be in the Grahamsville Rural Cemetery, Grahamsville, NY.

Memorial contributions in Craig's name may be made to the Liberty Masonic Lodge # 521, 20 Eagle Drive, Liberty, NY 12754 or to a charity of one's choice.
