David E. Harman

David E. Harman of Liberty, NY a Water Treatment Plant Operator for the Village of Liberty and a long time area resident died Thursday, February 20, 2025 at his home. He was 56.

The son of the late David E. and Linda Durenberger Harman, he was born July 7, 1968 in Findlay, Ohio.

David lived for his family. More than anything, he loved being a father, grandfather, and husband. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and Alabama Football Fan and enjoyed attending games with his wife. He also enjoyed golfing with his grown sons, baking with his daughter, and camping and building Legos with his younger sons.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Salvati Harman, at home; five sons, Drew Harman and his wife Devon of Callicoon Center, NY, Grant Harman and his wife Hayley of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Carter Harman and his fiancée Dallas of Livingston Manor, NY, Brody Harman of Liberty, NY and Miles Harman of Liberty, NY; one daughter, Rebeccah Ruhlin and her husband James of Neversink, NY; one sister, Angela Robinson of Colombus, OH; and four grandchildren, Ethan, Raegan, Margaret and Carson.

Visitation will be Friday, February 28, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY. Funeral services will begin at 7 PM in the funeral home.
