David Jersey, Sr

David W. Jersey, Sr. of Livingston Manor, NY, a lifelong area resident died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Roscoe Regional Rehab and Residential Health Care Facility in Roscoe, NY. He was 91.

The son of the late Andrew and Gertrude Conklin Jersey, he was born August 4, 1925 in Grooville, NY.

David had been a dairy farmer for most of his working career before being employed and retiring from the New York State Department of Transportation.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Krantz of Livingston Manor, NY; one son, David Jersey and his wife Jeanne of Livingston Manor, NY; one granddaughter, Kristi Burkey and her husband David of Livingston Manor, NY; two great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Justin Burkey; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Ann L. Kerhley Jersey on November 24, 2016 and by two brothers, Lawrence and Alfred Jersey.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 11 AM - 1 PM in the Harris Funeral Home Railroad Ave., Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 1 PM in the funeral home. The Rev. Francis Waite will officiate.

Burial will be in the Lew Beach Cemetery, Lew Beach, NY.
