Diane L. Gaffney

Diane L. Gaffney of Loch Sheldrake, NY, a retired Secretary for the Office of Dr. Gupta, and a longtime area resident died Monday, April 1, 2024 at the Achieve Rehab. and Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY.  She was 76.

The daughter of the late John J. and Vina Maloney Sochinski, she was born May 2, 1947 in Bronx, NY.

Diane enjoyed gardening and baking.

Survivors include one son, Gary Flynn of Hurleyville, NY; two brothers, Steven Sochinski and his wife Susan of The Villages, FL and Robert Sochinski of Middleburg, NY; two grandchildren, Kylie Flynn and Colin Flynn; two nephews, James Sochinski and Tracey Sochinski; one niece, Barbara Kelly and her husband Chris.

At this time, the family has chosen to celebrate Diane’s life privately.

Dignified cremation is being provided by Harris Crematorium, LLC.
