Diane Jackson

Diane Jackson of Liberty, NY, a longtime area resident died Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY.  She was 81.

The daughter of the late George and Audrey Smith, she was born October 16, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY.

Diane was a Communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Liberty, NY; she was a member of the Sunshine Adult Day Care where she enjoyed Adult Coloring and Arts & Crafts. She will be remembered for cooking for her neighbors and the love she shared with her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Renee Wilson of Monticello, NY and Meleanie Jackson of Schenectady, NY; three sons, Michael Jackson of Liberty, NY, Sidney Jackson and his wife Nicole of Arlington, VA, and Jarod Jackson and his wife Margaret of Liberty, NY; one sister, Susan Smith-Dodig of Daytona, FL; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Charles T. Jackson and a brother, Royal Smith.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 10 - 11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home, West Street at Buckley Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 AM in the funeral home.  Deacon Don Prendergast will officiate.
