Dina Tompkins

On Thursday, July 28, 2011 Dina Lee Young Tompkins passed away unexpectedly in Walton, NY. She was 35 years old.

Dina was born on September 8, 1975 in Walton, NY. She was the only daughter of Clifford "Clip" Young and Michele Baxter Young. Her brothers were Wade and Erik Young, both of Downsville, NY.

Dina married her one true love Michael Tompkins and the greatest joys in Dina's brief life here on earth were their four sons, Mike David, Dylan, and twins Ethan and Adam.

White Dina worked an assortment of occupations her primary professions were wife and mother and Dina was very passionate about these. She was the one mother on the sidelines cheering when no one else could be heard, and the first to speak up when support was needed. Her brilliant smile and twinkling eyes lit up every room she entered, with her beautiful long curls flowing behind. Her zest for life will never be forgotten.

A host of beloved relatives and special friends remain to walk the road alone. But they all must remember that their joys will be greater, their love will be deeper, and their lives will be fuller because they shared her vibrant moment.

Visitation was Sunday July 31, 2011 from 12 noon to 2pm in the Harris funeral home Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2pm in the funeral home. The reverend Michael Shanks will officiate.

The family asks that in remembrance you might please take the time to do a good deed for someone in need. Memorial contributions may be made to the Downsville Fire/Emergency Squad.
