Dolores Golden

Dolores C. Golden of Liberty, NY, a long time area resident, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at Catskill Regional Hospital in Harris, NY. She was 73.

The daughter of the late David and Charlotte Bauer Eichner, she was born on September 19, 1944 in Bronx, NY.

Dolores worked in the field of healthcare as a Residential Counselor at Sullivan County ARC for 27 years. She enjoyed attending bingo, had an interest in ceramics, and spent time at casinos.

Survivors include her son, Thomas Votee of Liberty, NY; her daughters, Deborah Votee and her companion Miriam Feliciano of Youngsville, NY, Maureen Johnson and her husband James of Liberty, NY and Jeanne Melchick and her husband John, Jr. of Youngsville, NY; her sister, Charlotte Healey of Saugerties, NY; her brother, Richard Eichner of Wayne, NJ; her grandchildren, Miriam, Devin, J.R., Daniel, Andrew, John III, and Austin; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was also survived by her canine companions, Spinner and Mulan.

She was predeceased by her husband William T. Golden on November 30, 2012.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley Liberty, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11 AM in St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Youngsville, NY.

Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Youngsville, NY.
