Donald Edwards

Donald Edwards of Youngsville, NY, a retired Dairy Farmer and a lifelong area resident died Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, surrounded by his loving family. He was 84.

The son of the late Adna and Hilda Marie Fries Edwards, he was born March 13, 1940 in Liberty, NY.

Donald had been a member of the Agricultural Co-op. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include two daughters, Martina Edwards and her companion Joseph Aracci of Liberty, NY and Inga Murphy and her husband Paul of Liberty, NY; a son, Gary Edwards of Livingston Manor, NY; a sister, Joan Dirie and her husband James of Youngsville, NY; six grandchildren, Daniel, Kyle, Amanda, Jeffrey, Patrick and Russell; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Carol Andresen Edwards, a daughter, Sherry Lynn Foster, three brothers, Fred, Paul and Robert Edwards and a sister, Gladys Lasher.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West Street at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10 AM in the funeral home. Pastor Ginny Bossley will officiate.

Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery, Youngsville, NY.
