Donald Kortright

Donald "Hoss" Kortright of Liberty, NY, a retired heavy equipment operator for Local #825, Newburgh, NY and a lifelong area resident, died Monday, December 3, 2012 at Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility, Liberty, NY. He was 78.

The son of the late Marvin and Harriett A. Kinne Kortright, he was born April 29, 1934 in Liberty, NY.

Hoss was a member and past chief of the Ontario Hose Company, Liberty, NY.

Survivors include two sons, Dale Kortright and his wife Mary of Ferndale, NY, and Ryan Kortright and his companion Mallory Reuiz of Liberty, NY; two daughters, Charyl Kortright and her companion Gene Bossert of Youngsville, NY, and Cindy Sprague and her husband Mike of Livingston Manor, NY; one sister, Shirley Brink of Texas; and two granddaughters, Dana and Morgon.

Visitation and funeral services were private.
