Donald K. LeRoy of Binghamton NY, formerly of Liberty, NY, a retired electrical technician for Universal Instruments, Binghamton, NY, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Buffalo, NY. He was 76.
The son of the late Kenneth and Margaret Crance LeRoy, he was born January 1, 1939 in Liberty, NY.
Don proudly served Our Country in the US Navy; he was a member of the Central Baptist Church, Binghamton, NY where he served on the Deacon Board and as an usher; he had been a driver for the Awana Bus for several years and had served on the Tri-City Baptist Mission Board. Don was deeply devoted to his loving family and enjoyed the outdoors and car racing.
Survivors include his wife, Dawn M. Thomas LeRoy at home; two daughters, Pamela Peterman and her husband Bob and Paula Stolzenberg; one brother, Richard LeRoy and his wife Lorraine; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 10 to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church, Port Crane, NY.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Robert Pomeroy will officiate.
Burial will be at 2 PM in the Harvard Cemetery, Harvard, NY.
Memorial contributions in Don's name may be made to the Central Baptist Church or Academy, 1606 NY Route 12, Binghamton, NY 13901.
