Dorothy Atkins

Dorothy M. Atkins of Red Hook, NY a homemaker and a lifelong area resident, died Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Roscoe Regional Rehab. and Nursing Facility, Roscoe, NY.  She was 93.

The daughter of the late Fred and Blanche Woods Wolfinger, she was born November 24, 1927 in Mount Kisco, NY along with her twin sister Lois. After marrying and raising six children she resided in Somers New York and moved to Red Hook New York for the past 15 years.

She is survived by five children, Warren Atkins, James Atkins, Robert Atkins , Nancy Askew and Donna Rossetti. Also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Howard E. Atkins; and one son, Kenneth Atkins predeceased her.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
