Dorothy Bivins

Dorothy "Dolly" J. Bivins of Parksville, NY, a self-employed cleaner and a lifelong area resident, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. She was 64.

The daughter of the late Elvin and Dorothy Dovoe Butler, she was born July 5, 1950 in Livingston Manor, NY.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Gary Bivins, at home; one son, Craig Bivins and his wife Lisa of Neversink, NY; one daughter, Michelle Decker and her husband Bill of Neversink, NY; two brothers, Donald Butler and his wife Beverly of Parksville, NY and Frederick Butler and his wife Dolly of GA; one sister, Christine Rogers of Livingston Manor, NY; four grandchildren, Connor Decker, Andrea Decker, Willow Bivins, and Kaylee Moshier; and several nieces and nephews.

Dolly enjoyed reading, knitting, and tending to her flower garden.

Funeral services will be private.
