Dorothy Naumovitz

Dorothy M. Naumovitz of Liberty, NY, a home maker and a long time area resident, died Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the Care Center at Sunset Lake, Liberty, NY.  She was 95.

The daughter of the late Harry and Cecelia Weiner Herold, she was born May 14, 1923 in Lew Beach, NY.

Survivors include one brother, Walter Herold and his wife Olga of Lodi, NJ; one daughter-in-law, Janet Naumovitz of East Greenbush, NY; two grandchildren, Beth Naumovitz of East Greenbush, NY and Adam Naumovitz and his wife Laura of Delmar, NY; three great grandchildren, Grant, Colby and Stella; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph P. Naumovitz; one son, Stanley Naumovitz; one granddaughter, Jill Naumovitz; one sister, Eleanor Sikora; and one brother, John Herold.

Graveside services and burial will be Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 11 AM in the Lew Beach Cemetery, Lew Beach, NY.
