Dwight Mcintosh, Jr.

Dwight McIntosh Jr, 79, of Liberty, New York died peacefully Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at home surrounded by his loved ones.

Dwight was born November 14, 1943, in Woodbourne, NY to Dwight McIntosh and Ida Wells McIntosh.

Dwight was a security guard for Grossingers Hotel in Liberty, NY. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, whistling while rocking on the porch with his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren. Dwight is preceded in death by his parents, his beautiful wife Margaret Bilyou McIntosh, his sister Margaret Hannold, and his brother Harry McIntosh.

Dwight was survived by a son, Dwight H. McIntosh and his wife Wendy of Adamstown, PA; two daughters, Tracy Armstead and her husband Gary of Dingmans Ferry, PA, and Lisa Irwin and her husband Kirk of Liberty, NY; two brothers, Lenny McIntosh of Norwich, NY, and Timothy McIntosh of Neversink, NY. Twelve grandchildren; Ashli, Jonathan, Edward, Jazmine, Rachel, Megan, Justin, Scott, Jessica, Bryce, Kirk, and Logan. Ten great-grandchildren; Amiya, Jonathan, Edward, Za’Darius, Willow, Leroy, Jaxson, Wilson, Jai’re, and Vicky. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Burial will be Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 1 PM in the Hurleyville Cemetery, Hurleyville, NY.
