Edith F. McKay

Edith F. McKay of Parksville, NY, a retired Clerk for the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty, NY, and a lifelong area resident died Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at her home.  She was 79.

The daughter of the late Ivan and Elizabeth Wright Ackerley, she was born April 10, 1944 in the Town of Neversink, NY.

Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Frunzi and her husband Peter of So. Fallsburg, NY; two sons, Robert McKay and his companion, Sharon Maus of Callicoon, NY and Christopher McKay and his companion, Natasa Berrios of Parksville, NY; one sister, Mary Nash and her husband Fred of Neversink, NY; one brother, Medwin Ackerley of Neversink, NY; nine grandchildren, Todd, Peter, John, Marie, Michele, Robert, Bruce and Louella Frunzi and Kristina McKay; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Leon McKay and her late companion, Thomas Smith.

At this time the family has chosen to celebrate Edith’s Life privately.
