Edna Levy

Edna Levy of Liberty, NY, died on June 25, 2021 at the age of 90, after a brief illness.  She is the daughter of the late Louis and Lena Plotsky and she was born October 1, 1930 in Long Branch, NJ.

Edna was a long-time resident of Sullivan County, New York and spent many years operating jewelry concessions in various hotels in the Catskill Mountains.   She was known for her sense of humor, warm personality, and adored by her family and friends.  For the last decade, she had been a resident in an assisted living facility in New Jersey.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, Ernie Levy, in 2011; her sister, Ann Park, of Liberty, NY in 2014; and her brother Sam Plotsky of Sarasota, FL in 1995.

Survivors include her five children, Mark Levy and his wife Mary Beth, Renee Kubryk, Lori Levy, Dave Levy and his wife Jen, and Susan Garbow and her husband Cary; her five grandchildren, Trista Polo, Adam Kubryk, Brynne Levy, Alexandra Missler and Ethan Garbow; 5 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private in the Sullivan County Veteran's Cemetery Sunset Lake Road, Liberty, NY.
