Edward Chillik

Edward L. Chillik, Sr. of Hurleyville, NY a retired telecommunications employee at Bayview Custom Communications in Ronkonkoma, NY and a long-time area resident, died Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY. He was 88.

The son of the late Louis A. and Edna Shumaker Chillik, he was born November 9, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio.  Edward proudly served our country in the US Air Force from 1954 to 1962.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. Hart Chillik, at home; his children, James Chillik of DE, Edward Chillik, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Delaware, OH, Tantrus Chillik of Hilliard, OH, Susie Mitchell and her husband Michael of Marion, OH, Laura Brettell and her husband Richard of Bordentown, NJ; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Page; and his parents.
