Edwin C. "Ed" Roth of White Sulphur Springs, NY, a retired superintendent for the Town of Liberty Water and Sewer Department and a lifelong area resident died Sunday, March 14, 2021 in White Sulphur Springs, NY. He was 66.
The son of the late Charles and Marjorie "Midge" LaBagh Roth, he was born January 4, 1955 in Liberty, NY.
Ed was a member of the White Sulphur Springs Fire Department and the OB's. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and is a former member of the Peter's Hunting Club, the Buck Horn Hunting Club and the Wild Cat Hunting Club.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Sandra "Sandy" Tuttle Roth, at home; two sons, Charlie Roth and his wife Ann of Swan Lake, NY and Chad Roth and his wife Heather of Liberty, NY; one daughter, Melissa Diehl and her husband Mike of White Sulphur Springs, NY; two sisters, Charlene Verkey and her husband Rod of Seneca Falls, NY and Diane Palm of Oklahoma City, OK; nine grandchildren, Connor, Morgan, Brianna, Brooke, Ally, Baley, Lucas, Mason and Ava; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the White Sulphur Springs Fire Hall, Route 52, White Sulphur Springs, NY on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 11 AM-5 PM. Due to the current health issues, face coverings and social distancing is required.
