Elaine Kelly

Elaine E. Kelly of White Sulphur Springs, NY a lifelong area resident, died Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. She was 76.

The daughter of the late Wilson and Eleanor (Hogencamp) Grant, she was born July 29, 1948 in Liberty, New York.

Elaine was a retired teacher’s assistant at Liberty Central School where she supported the education of children for 30 years.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Kelly, at home; two sons, Matthew Kelly and his wife Katie of Annapolis, MD and Adam Kelly and his wife Raissa of Pittsford, NY; her grandchildren, Madison, Grant and Megan; her two sisters, Flora and Judy; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2025 from 2 to 4 PM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be at 4 PM in the funeral home. Father Edward Bader will officiate. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Elaine’s name may be made to the White Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church or the American Stroke Association.
