Elizabeth M. Jackowski

Elizabeth M. Jackowski of Jeffersonville, NY, a longtime employee and the Timeshare Manager for the Villa Roma in Callicoon, NY died Monday, February 17, 2025 with her daughters by her side. She was 71.

The daughter of Natalie L. Biernacik Paszek and the late Joseph Paszek, she was born June 9, 1953 in Gdynia, Poland.

Survivors include three daughters, Annette Rasmussen and her husband Kris of Youngsville, NY, Michelle Davis and her husband Mike of Taylorsville, NC, and Yvonne Semenetz and her husband Gregg of Summerville, SC; her mother, Natalie Paszek of Jeffersonville, NY; one sister, Ewa Morawska of Poland; one brother, Stefan Swendrak and his wife Diane of New Jersey; six grandchildren, Kristopher, Danielle, Michael, Maverick, Ella and Lucy; several nieces and nephews, and her good friend Carolann Cook.   She was predeceased by her husband Michael Jackowski in 2006.

Our mom was a devoted, caring mother and an amazing Babci to her grandchildren. They were her life. She was a patient, kind-hearted, hardworking woman. She was the matriarch not only of her family, but of the Villa Roma Timeshare Housekeeping department, where staff became her family. We will miss her laugh, her Chrusciki cookies, pierogi nights, FaceTime calls, her cooking (she always made sure you never left hungry), and the way she made you feel like family. Her grandchildren will miss their Babci hugs, her patience, words of guidance, and unconditional love.

Visitation will be Friday, February 21, 2025 from 4-7 PM in the Harris Funeral Home West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11 AM in St. George Roman Catholic Church Schoolhouse Road, Jeffersonville, NY. Father Roland Raj, MMI will officiate.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Route 52, Youngsville, NY.
