Emma Klinegardner

Emma Klinegardner of Horton Brook, NY, a homemaker and a longtime area resident, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at UHS Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton, NY. She was 91.

The daughter of the late Valentino and Christina Nora Vecellio Menia, she was born November 6, 1922 in Lewis Run, PA.

Survivors include two sons, George and his wife Karen Ramburg Klinegardner of Horton Brook, NY, and Thomas and his companion Laura Jennings Klinegardner of Horton Brook, NY; one daughter, Christina Christensen of Hancock, NY; three grandchildren, Leslie Irwin and her husband David of Horton Brook, NY, Kaneen Stefano and her husband Brad of Denver, CO, and Michael Klinegardner and his wife Nissa of Gulf Port, MS; three great grandchildren, whom she adored, Dylon, Daniel, and Emily Irwin of all Horton Book, NY; step grandchildren Hope, Michelle, Jeff, Mike, Billy, MaKenna, Gavin, Jeffery, Saige, Curtis, Cheyenne, and Brittany.

She was predeceased by her husband Elmer Klinegardner in 1973; one son, William Klinegardner in 1946; one daughter in law, Mary Lynn Klinegardner in 2005; and one sister Renee Klinegardner in 2014.

Emma's greatest joy was her family whom she lovingly made Sunday dinner for and she rarely missed a week.

Visitation will be Friday, March 21, 2014 from 11 am to 1 pm in the Harris Funeral Home, Railroad Ave. Roscoe, NY.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 21, 2014 at 1 pm in the funeral home. The Rev. Yancey Brown will officiate.

Burial will be in the Horton Cemetery in the spring.
