Ethel Dotten

Ethel Dotten of Ferndale, NY, a home maker and a long time area resident, died Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center,  Harris, NY.  She was 91.

The daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Kennedy Deans, she was born December 17, 1927 in New York City, NY.

Survivors include her children, Ann Smyth of Kingston, NY, Elizabeth Kleingardner and her husband Randy of Ferndale, NY, and Gary Dotton of Liberty, NY; many grandchildren including, Catherine Spicer of TX, Steven Chesney of Ferndale, NY; many great grandchildren including Ryker Chesney; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Dotten in 1991; one daughter, Helen Stephenson; and one son, Bobby Groenhoff.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 9 to 11 AM in the Harris Funeral Home, West St. at Buckley, Liberty, NY.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 11 AM in the funeral home.  The Rev. Bridgette LeConey will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hastings-On-Hudson, NY.
